[ I Am One Of Them ]

I was about to enter the Kakiis contest, you know the one with the Who Got The Best Buddies Around since it's two days away from the submission date.

So I got all geared up, pretending not to look at the piling storyboards and started 'selongkar-ing' my picture and video folders, somehow I'm so confident of coming up with something and SEDIKIT TAK SABAR AH NAK WAT KAWAN-KAWAN MENANGIS TERHARU ngahahaha!

Since there are two categories, one for the video contest & the other one is for pictures, I decided to go all out and bring out the Khabir Bhatia in me CHEWAH.
So I decided to look at the other contestant's submissions, the videos that they sent, of kos lah as reference,kenot tiru-tiru wannn MUST DO HOMEWORK before coming out with my own.

*insert muka berparut jerawat yang semangat*

I clicked on the FIRST top video uploaded and shivered.
Half way thru the video, I closed the page.
Blom lagi tengok video yang lain, I went blank & stared straight konfem tembus my computer screen.

Like WHAT THE HELL AM I GETTING MYSELF INTO coz' the video was totally and awesomely professionally done!
Superb!

Dah la ala those MTV shows, complete with soundtracks and fast forward moves, I know if I had waited long enuff, KONFEM ada scene ala The Matrix, KONFEM KONFEM!
Benci ah!


Benci as in I know I can't do as good as that, amik video pun tangan gigilgigil and my manly voice would completely ruined the whole thing and mana nak carik umah yang ade swimming pool untuk wat aksi menari chumelchumel, AH TENSI!

Might as well go for the photo category and blog about it, WAH TETIBE HATIKU BERCAKAP ENGLISH.

As I went thru the picture folders, I realised it won't be fair to select just a few and tell the whole world how best buddies we are, or how we'll BFF till the next life and ah, you know what I mean.








Coz' I have come to terms that I am blessed with great buddies around me sejak dulu-dulu lagi.

Like so dulu-dulu that only camera yang guna filem je was used and I was so so so camera shy back then and forever-lah volunteering to be the one untuk amikkan gambar orang lain BUT THEN SEMUA ORANG TERLUPA NAK AMIKKAN UNTUK ALONG so mostly I have a lot of my friends' pictures WITHOUT me in it.

Then came the digicam era, but only a few had them, and I was fortunate to be at least in it, be it in the pictures or in that circle of friends yang ade digicam HUHU.
It was during college years, and less jerawat that time, I was more camera friendly or was it the camera loves us (perasan!) or else we won't be known as the batch yang paling havoc, ye tak budak BCS?


Oh, I so know you BCS people are reading here!

After we've graduated, most of us parted ways, some settled down, landed great jobs, some flew & continued studies overseas but remain in touch.
Be it in Facebook, Friendsters or blogs, I know they are there.
Biarpun kadang-kadang tak bertanya khabar directly, as in tengok je profile dia, baca je blog dia, tak datang gatherings atau kalau di YM pun sekadar tanya "Bz ke?" or TETIBE JE TULIS "SOMBONGNYE KO" kind of dat, I know if I need them, they will be there.



Kan, korang?

Dulu merasa punya clique sendiri, mungkin terasa selamat begitu.
Kalau di situ Wani, mesti ade Along.
Kalau takde Wani, Nadek ade dengan Along.
Tak Nadek, Ena, Hemot, Cek Su, Dyda, Syikin and the list will go on and on.
ENDLESS!

It doesn't stop with the girls je, the boys were there ALWAYS protecting us, playing truant with us and EH TOLONG SIGNKAN ATTENDANCE AKU NANTI YEH, LONG always always!

Tu zaman kolej, zaman kegemilangan.

And as we grew up, went thru obstacles, failed relationships, change of careers, lesser meet ups and calls, or became distant over time and other priorities, we 'd understand.
I know I did.
Oh but not that instant.
At first, this childish selfish mind of mine thought the clique will be like forever, takleh ade orang lain, kite kene ade kite je, you know that stuff.

But as time passes me by, I'd understand the need to be in our own space and still have friends around us.
Like what I'm doing now :)

To tell you the truth,I'm having the best of both world!
I have the real i-can-poke-your-eyes-and-you-can-poke-my-jerawat friends whom I can laugh and cry together and still do the same thing only when I'm online with the cyber i-only-can-poke-you-in-YM/Facebook/Friendster/blog friends.

Indah kan?

I realised I won't do justice to all my good friends who have been there for me from Day 1 until now just by putting just one picture just becoz I'm eyeing on to win some prize but only coz I know I can confide and run and cry to each and every one of you when I need a friend.

As for consolation, those moments with friends that I always blog about or those who remained silent yet still prays for me from afar, this entry would be for you.
Each and everyone of you.

And guess what, I had my Khabir Bhatia moments too when I stumbled in a free movie maker software and made this clip.


It ain't much, but that was the best I could come up at that time (sambil wat latihan industri oh kenangan!) and I am glad I did it and stashed it in youtube :)

Or at least, LET ME KNOW I'm so kepochiminachi that way and it would be pleasant to know that the world we are living in are full of nice people that are very good friends EH SUDDENLY MISS WORLD SPEECH must stop stop berangan -_-"
